About Acharya

Rishikesh Yog Kendra, a well renowned and most reputed yoga school in Rishikesh, India, was founded by Acharya Vimlesh Joshi, who holds more than 12 years of experience in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga and Aerial Yoga.

He carries a deep, integral understanding of body alignment and analysis, which encourages students to practice the authentic art form of yoga with one of the topmost teachers at Rishikesh Yog Kendra (RYK).

He made RYK an internationally certified school, teaching residential yoga programs, yoga retreats, mindfulness programs and wellness programs — helping students connect with the traditional knowledge of body mechanics.

The school is located in one of the most beautiful places in Rishikesh, Tapovan — surrounded by the green Himalayas, the holy river Ganges, temples, ashrams, waterfalls, and the main tourism market, all easily accessible.
